It seems only fitting that during this year of celebration of Maria Montessori's birth that AMI/USA acknowledge those in our community who have dedicated themselves to this work. To this end, AMI/USA has established the "Circle of Distinction." The Circle of Distinction acknowledges an individual's lifelong dedication, inspiration, creativity, resilience and passion within the AMI/USA community. We all know that the continuation of Maria Montessori's work requires the contributions of us all, and that every contribution is invaluable to our mission. We also know that there are certain people who have inspired us greatly. The Circle of Distinction allows our community to thank these individuals for the significant personal and professional gifts they've bestowed and for which we are grateful.
