Maria Montessori or the Discovery of the Child
L'emergenza sanitaria ci ha costretto in parte a rimandare e in parte a ripensare gli eventi che avevamo inizialmente previsto per "MM150". Tra di essi "COSMI - Costruire mondi con l'immaginazione" (il festival dell'educazione che ci attende nel 2021) e il riallestimento dello spettacolo "Maria Montessori o la scoperta del bambino" prodotto due anni fa dal Comune di Chiaravalle e dal Teatro Popolare d'Arte, con la regia di Gianfranco Pedullà e la partecipazione di Rosanna Gentili e degli attori del progetto teatrale VisionArea. Anche in questo caso si tratta non di un annullamento ma di un rinvio al prossimo anno; e, a partire dal recital di dopodomani con Lucia Ferrati in piazza Mazzini, non mancheranno altri omaggi teatrali a Maria Montessori.
Nell'attesa, ripubblichiamo le immagini dello spettacolo portato in scena il 5 e il 6 maggio 2018: spettacolo che si chiudeva con queste parole immaginariamente pronunciate dal figlio Mario sulla "onda lunga" dell'amore che Maria Montessori ha sempre avuto per il mare (dal nostro Adriatico a quello del Nord):
"Quello che ho imparato da mia madre: l'amicizia... il diritto a giocare... a colorare le cose... a non prendere in giro gli altri... il diritto ad apprendere... il fare e il saper fare... a lavorare... la cura delle cose... a curare le cose... a saper scegliere... a prendere una posizione... a parlare senza urlare... ad ascoltare il silenzio... Mia madre mi ha insegnato la libertà... Mia madre mi ha insegnato a saltare sulle onde del mare..."
The health emergency forced us partly to postpone and partly to rethink the events that we had originally planned for "MM150". Among them "COSMI - Building worlds with imagination" (the education festival that awaits us in 2021) and the rearrangement of the show "Maria Montessori or the discovery of the child" produced two years ago by the Municipality of Chiaravalle and the Theater Popolare d'Arte, directed by Gianfranco Pedullà and the participation of Rosanna Gentili and the actors of the VisionArea theatrical project. Also in this case it is not a cancellation but a postponement to next year; and, starting from the recital the day after tomorrow with Lucia Ferrati in Piazza Mazzini, there will be other theatrical tributes to Maria Montessori.
In the meantime, we republish the images of the show staged on 5 and 6 May 2018: a show that ended with these words imaginatively pronounced by her son Mario on the "long wave" of the love that Maria Montessori has always had for the sea (from our Adriatic to the North):
"What I learned from my mother: friendship ... the right to play ... to colour things ... not to make fun of others ... the right to learn ... doing and to know how to do ... to work ... to take care of things ... to cure things ... to know how to choose ... to take a stand ... to speak without screaming ... to listen to the silence ... My mother taught me freedom ... My mother taught me to jump on the waves of the sea ..."
